PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device in a corrugated cardboard sheet carton manufacturing machine not causing quality deterioration due to lowered sheet plane compressive strength by sheet crushing at a sheet carrier device section. SOLUTION: This device is constituted of a kicker reciprocating device that reciprocates a kicker in a sheet feeding direction, a driver that drives the kicker reciprocating device, and a controller that controls the driver. The controller feeds a sheet by forming a first speed region in which the kicker is moved forward with increasing speed up to a sheet carrier device speed, a second speed region in which the kicker is moved forward for a desired distance in the sheet feeding direction at the same speed as the sheet carrier device speed, a third speed region in which the kicker is moved forward in the sheet feeding direction with decreasing speed in order to stop moving forward of the kicker, and a fourth speed region in which the kicker is moved backward.
