PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article take out device suitable for carrying it around, from which a tablet-shaped article can be taken out only by opening the lid of the device. SOLUTION: The article take out device 1 comprises a device body 3 and the lid 5. The device body 3 has partition members 45a, 45b which form an article housing section 41 on the upper side and an article take out section 43 on the lower side, on which an article take out opening 17 is formed and the lid 5 are arranged. On the partition members 45a, 45b, a communicative connection hole 47 is formed to allow the article M to pass through the hole from the housing section 41 to reach the take out section 43, which has an article take out means 27 for taking out the article M in response to the opening of the lid 5 and a regulating member 4 blocking the communicative connection hole 47 by interlocking with the take out means 27 to prevent another article M from falling off from the housing section 41.
