DOT LINE PRINTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a travelling position variation of an ink ribbon because of driving of a hammer pin in relation to a travel system for the ink ribbon of a dot line printer. SOLUTION: A guide is set for forcibly winding the ink ribbon around a ribbon roller in the vicinity of upper and lower ends of the ribbon roller, whereby a float in the vicinity of the upper and lower ends of the ribbon roller due to the stiffness of a base cloth of the ink ribbon is reduced. A definite speed difference is produced between the upper and lower sides of the ink ribbon. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
