PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting process and casting line which can prevent involvement of gas, air, slag, sand and so forth into molten metal during pouring. SOLUTION: A plurality of flasks are brought one by one to plural stopping positions intermittently which are arranged along a transportation route. A casting mold is molded by a molding apparatus, then brought to the stopping position for casting, where the molten metal is poured by the casting facility. At the stopping position during casting, the casting mold is kept tilted to the designated angle in the perpendicular plane to the transportation direction of the casting mold. When the runner side comes low by tilting, the molten metal, through the runner section of the casting mold, gradually fills a product section from the lower portion so that surging flow and turbulence of the molten metal can be avoided. When the runner side comes high by tilting, the molten metal can fill a product section at a desirable flow rate, even when its shape hinders smooth flow of the molten metal. After pouring of the molten metal, while the casting mold is transferred through the plural stopping positions between the pouring facility and a mold stripping facility, the product is cooled and then the mold is stripped by the mold stripping facility.
