COATING METHOD OF EPOXY POWDER PAINT ON CAST IRON PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method of epoxy powder paint on a cast iron pipe capable of coating at the temperature between 160 and 220°C, restraining an occurrence of pin holes and obtaining a coating film excellent in smoothness and hygienicity. SOLUTION: A coating method of epoxy powder paint on a cast iron pipe, when coating the epoxy powder paint on the cast iron, is to coat a bisphenol A type epoxy or a bisphenol F type epoxy powder paint at a coating temperature between 160 and 220°C and at a gel time of the paint between 10 and 120 seconds. And after 10 to 120 seconds passing, the coating method of epoxy powder paint is performed by a two coating/one baking system to coat a bisphenol F type epoxy or a tetramethyl bisphenol F type epoxy powder paint as a second layer at a gel time of the paint between 10 and 50 seconds which gel fraction of curing and film is more than 95 percent.
