PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging apparatus which can shorten a lead time by carrying out a series of packaging operations at a high speed and improve flexibility as it can cope with the change as it is in a packaging member or an object to be packaged. SOLUTION: The packaging apparatus includes a pair of elastic belts 1 to 3 for carrying the packaging member with an opening turning upward, a supply means 4 for sequentially feeding the packaging member to the elastic belts, an opening means 5 for widening the opening of the packaging member, a casting means 6 for putting the object to be packaged from the opening widened by the opening means 5, and a sealing means 7 for sealing the opening of the packaging member. The pair of elastic belts carry a predetermined number of the packaging members while holding the vicinity of the opening of the plurality of the members together, and the operations of opening by the opening means 5, casting the objects to be packaged by the casting means 6 and sealing the opening by the sealing means 7 are concurrently performed for the plurality of the packaging members.
