PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear acting device for clean environment capable of preventing grease from scattering and having a simple configuration. SOLUTION: This linear acting device 10 for clean environment is constituted by arranging a row of circulation balls 6 in a circulation passage 5 provided over both of a moving body 2 and a moved body 1. A cover member 7 having two recessed ball receive parts 7a for holding the circulation ball 6 back to back is provided among all the adjacent circulation balls 6.
