The vehicle has an opening in a fixed roof, a stationary part in a guide rail, with closure part and operating mechanism. This has a U-shaped guide connection of two L-shaped parts (16,17) plugged together via engaging parts (22,23,25,26). These have cooperating stop members (24,27), which determine the relative position of the two parts and prevent their disengagement. For assembly, the two parts are pressed into the guide rail, pressed together for shoes (10), which limit guide connection movement, to engage, and the parts are then pressed together and locked pref. via a ratchet-and-stop arrangement.
