Connecting rod for motor-compressors, comprising a first member (10), which is provided with an eye (11) at an extremity thereof and an appropriately shaped head (12) at the opposite extremity thereof, and a second member (13) which defines an eye (14) and is provided with an appendix (15) that is shaped in a similar manner as the head (12) . The conjugate profiles of the head (12) and the appendix (15) have a polygonal longitudinal section (16) with surfaces (17) which are inclined so as to be able to ensure a mutual engagement. The connecting rod is particularly simple to . manufacture and assemble.
