The invention relates to the devices for protecting the breathing apparatus such as the isolating self-rescuers (gas masks) containing the chemically bound oxygen. The devices are used in the mining industry with the aim of protecting the respiratory system in the adverse atmosphere. A case for the breathing apparatus contains a housing, a cover, a sealing gasket, coupling strips with locking appliances, a seal with the wire, an overlay protecting the seal and strips with the lock, a shoulder belt. The latter represents the woven length-adjustable ribbon connected with the ears of the housing. The invention provides for improving the operational parameters of the breathing apparatus.
