Internal data in the welding device (1) is processed by an integrated OPC server (31), processing an OPC software component, converted from an internal data format into an OPC standard format and/or recorded by the OPC server using measuring/output means, the data in OPC standard format made available to other components by means of the OPC interface (36) and/or other data in OPC standard format is received from external components and converted into the internal data format of the welding device (1), for the control and/or analytical device (4) by the OPC server.</p> |
