<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaper which can be easily manufactured, can be reused with the same feeling as a new one by washing it, and can be easily and economically used in hospitals, or the like, where a large amount of the diapers are used. <P>SOLUTION: This diaper comprises a water absorbent sheet 1 having a water absorbing polymer layer 4 between double folded surfaces of a water permeable protective paper sheet 3 and an outer cover 2 made of a nonwoven fabric which wraps the water absorbent sheet 1 to prevent the water absorbing polymer from spilling during washing, and is made flat as a whole. The water absorbing polymer layer may be sectioned into several portions 7 by closing the double folded surfaces of the protective paper sheet 3 in the water absorbent sheet 1 at proper intervals, and the nonwoven fabrics may be laminated in multiple layers on at least one face side of the outer cover 2. An auxiliary cover comprising a nonwoven fabric may be so arranged as to insert and hold the diaper itself freely through an opening part and conceal at least the peripheral edge part of the diaper. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
