<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactly and inexpensively heat-treat sludge being matter to be treated by subjecting the matter to be treated to respective treatment forms (respective heat treatment means) by preliminarily measuring the mass of the matter to be treated while integrating the same in a time unit and a day unit. <P>SOLUTION: In a heat treatment method for sludge comprising a drying process having a plurality of heat treatment processes and drying the matter to be treated in a heat treatment furnace and a processing process for further heat-treating the dried substance obtained from the drying process in at least one heat treatment furnace, the masses of the matter to be treated charged in the respective heat treatment furnaces are weighed and integrated. Thereafter, a constant amount of the matter to be treated is heat-treated on the basis of the weighed result. For example, in this heat treatment method, the dried substance is supplied to a next carbonizing process (second process) while weighing the mass of the dried substance obtained in the drying process (first process) for heat-treating the sludge to remove moisture contained in the sludge, so that the weighed value does not exceed a constant value, to remove an organic component contained in the dried substance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
