DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FILTERING MELTING POLYMER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtering device and a filtering method for a melting polymer which can scavenge foreign substances causing a fault or break of a resin molding; can concurrently conduct dispersion / blending into the melting polymer of a gel, a cracked gas and a residual air by dividing into sub-micron order and further; can ameliorate thickness spots by homogenizing the melting polymer in the case the resin molding is a resin sheet or film. SOLUTION: The filtering device and method for the melting polymer are provided. The device is characterized in that static mixers are built in pores of a porous block in the filtering device which contains in a casing plural tabular chain link filters supported by the porous block used as a polymer passage.
