PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera where an object distance is measured by two range-finding systems, that means, passive and active range-finding systems and which does not miss a shutter chance by taking a photograph even when a photographing button (SW2) is quickly depressed. SOLUTION: The camera which does not miss a shutter chance by detecting the change of the photographing button (SW2) every time range-finding operation is finished once (operation of one system) in the range-finding device to obtain the object distance by the passive and the active systems is provided, and is made a camera coping with quick depressing by utilizing photographic depth by a stroboscopic photography mode or the regulation of the stop of a shutter when AF accuracy is not good in the case of performing the range-finding operation once.
