PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a double layered capacitor with reduced internal resistance and excellent life duration. SOLUTION: There is provided a separator for the double layered capacitor having a melting point or a thermal decomposition temperature of 250°C or more, and comprising a nonwoven cloth that contains zeolite and macromolecules whose fabric diameters are at least partially fibrillated into 1μm or less.
