PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment with excellent impact resistance and of which the installation space can be reduced. SOLUTION: A disk device 40 comprises a hard disk driver 1, an adaptor 42 to be mounted on an edge part 1a of an approximate rectangular plate-like casing 11 of the HDD 1 and a dumper 44 mounted on a flange part 43 of the adaptor 42. The adaptor 42 comprises spring structure which can be engaged into the edge part 1a of the casing 11 and the sheet-like flange part 43 extended in the direction which separates from the edge part 1a of the casing 11. The dumper 44 is formed by a block-shape impulsive absorbing member having a slit 45 which can accept the flange part 43. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
