MAKE-UP WATER PROVISION OF NUCLEAR POWER PLANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate draining work and maintenance of a condesate storage tank during normal operation or inspection of a plant. SOLUTION: For alternative water source of the condensate storage tank 1, storage water in a radioactive liquid waste processing system sample tank 9 placed in a nuclear power plant is used. The inlet pipe 2 of a water supply pump 3 for supplying water from the sample tank 9 to other systems and components is connected to the sample tank 9 with a bypass line 20. By way of the bypass line 20, water is supplied to other systems and components. Storage water in the condensate storage tank 1 is no more used with this manner, draining work of the condensate storage tank 1 is facilitated and maintenance of it is also facilitated.
