PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerant filling method for a car air conditioner performed at low cost and precisely and easily performed by a person with no skilled art. SOLUTION: This refrigerant filling method for the car air conditioner is provided with a low pressure side connecting step, a high pressure side connecting step, a high pressure side measuring step, and a refrigerant filling step. A pressure display device 28 used in the high pressure side measuring step comprises a pipe, a conversion means, an indicator, and an evaluation plate and the high pressure side measuring step determines whether or not the pressure in the high pressure side of a circulating pipe is appropriate or not by the position of the evaluation plate indicated by the indicator. The refrigerant filling step is provided with a three-forked branch plug in a low pressure side hose and allows the branch plug to fill the air conditioner with the refrigerant based on the measurement result of the high pressure side measuring step.
