PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a threshing machine improved with its maintaining property without being bothered by a feed chain on cleaning and checking its threshing chamber. SOLUTION: This threshing machine thresh-treating cereal culms nipped and conveyed by a nipping/holding rail 4 and the feed chain 5 arranged as tilted low in front and high in rear in its threshing drum 6 built in the threshing chamber 2 is provided by constituting the threshing chamber 2 by an upper frame body X for supporting the threshing drum 6 and nipping/holding rail 4, and a lower frame body Y fixed with the feed chain 5, joining the upper frame body X with the lower frame body Y as freely swinging up and down between an ascended open position and descended closed position, constituting that when the upper frame body X is shaken as ascended, the threshing drum 6 and nipping/holding rail 4 is ascended as one unit, also separating a chain rail 40 of the feed chain 5 to front and rear sides and constituting the rear side chain rail 42 as freely descendable and rotatable by using the front side as a fulcrum.
