<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof structure for the in/out line part of a box which is excellent in waterproofness and can cope with various sizes of cables, too. <P>SOLUTION: A U-shaped cut 4 is provided from the edge of the plate 21 of a box 1, a divided packing 5 or a slit packing 5 ranging from the edge is set in the cut 4, and then the packing 5 is pressed by a packing pressing member 7 on the side of the aperture of the cut 4. As a result, the packing 5 becomes the one excellent in waterproofness, since it is compressed and transformed according to the shape of the cable and sticks fast to it, and further it can cope with various sizes of cables, too, with one kind of packing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
