<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object tracking device, its control method and an image recognition system, which can track each object by tracking a template that includes a single object. <P>SOLUTION: The image recognition system is composed of a latest image storage means 120 for inputting latest images, an immediately preceding image storage means 130 for storing an immediately preceding image to the image that is inputted into the latest frame image storage device 120, and a moving object detection means 140 for detecting a moving object region that is an image region in which a moving object exists.
