<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide magnetic material reduced in magnetic core loss and its producing method. <P>SOLUTION: In the producing method, the low loss oxide magnetic material consists of a main component composition of 52.0-55.0mol% Fe<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and 30.0-45.0mol% MnO and the balance ZnO and, as additives, contains SiO<SB>2</SB>of 0.01 to <0.03wt.%, CaO of 0.01 to <0.15wt.% and Nb<SB>2</SB>O<SB>5</SB>of 0.01 to <0.1wt.%.
