<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for managing a vehicle allocation and operation plan to improve customer service by timely management of a cargo gathering and distributing condition. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle allocation center is provided with a means deciding the vehicle allocation and operation plan including the desired time for collection and delivery which a sender designates or approves, a recording means recording the vehicle allocation and operation plan, a means referring to the vehicle allocation and operation plan, a means specifying a vehicle collecting and delivering a specific cargo from the vehicle allocation and operation plan, and inputting the operation result information of the vehicle by a rotatable terminal through a communication line to manage the vehicle allocation and operation plan, and a means displaying the estimated required time or estimated collection and delivery time to a collection and delivery place with the collection and delivery time designated by the sender on a screen by referring to the managed vehicle allocation and operation plan. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
