<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a streetlight monitoring system that automates inspection work for the burn-out of a streetlight, prevents delay in the detection of the burn-out of the streetlight, and makes efficient the preparation of replacement components of the streetlight. <P>SOLUTION: In a plurality of modules 3 provided for each installation location of the streetlight, a detection section 31 detects the burn-out of the streetlight by monitoring the current and luminance of the streetlight. The information is temporarily stored in a data memory 33, and is transmitted to a control apparatus 1 along with a module ID via a communication section 34 and a network system 2. When a management agency apparatus 1 receives information from the module, the apparatus 1 sequentially stores the information in a database 13, and displays streetlight burn-out information at an operation display section 12 if the burn-out information exists to inform an operator of the occurrence of the streetlight burn-out. Additionally, a control processing section 11 obtains the life of each streetlight from received information stored in the database 13, calculates and displays the average life value or the like for each streetlight type, and provides maintenance data to the operator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
