PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink tank cartridge system and an ink jet registering device which take the protection of natural environment into consideration by preventing users from trashing waste. SOLUTION: An ink supply tank and a waste ink collection tank are distributed from the side of a fabricator to the user in a state in which both tanks are tightly sealed and united so that the waste ink collection tank serves to prevent the ink supply tank from drying. The user uses by fitting both tanks to the ink jet registering device in a state in which the tanks are opened and united, or separated independently of each other. After used, both tanks are returned to the state at the distribution time in which the tanks are sealed and united so that the ink supply tank serves to prevent ink of the waste ink collection tank from leaking.
