PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel enabling to achieve a high brightness and high efficiency preventing distortion of image quality. SOLUTION: The plasma display panel is structured with pixel cells having mutually different structuring discharge cells including a first and a second discharge cells S1, S2 adjacent to each other right and left and formed in correspondence with each other, and a third discharge cell S3 adjacent to a lower part of the first and the second discharge cells S1, S2, formed with its length of in a lateral direction same as that in the lateral direction from the first discharge cell to the second discharge cell and its length of in the longitudinal direction formed shorter than that of the first and the second discharge cells.
