PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method by which a laminated chip inductor having various inductance characteristic is obtained only by preparing a single kind of magnetic ceramic greensheets. SOLUTION: The magnetic ceramic greensheets 1 and auxiliary magnetic ceramic pastes 4 having a magnetic permeability different from this are prepared, and one which is suited to a product request characteristic is selected from among these auxiliary magnetic ceramic pastes 4. Thereafter, conductor paste 3 for forming a coil and the selected auxiliary magnetic ceramic paste 4 are applied together onto the magnetic ceramic greensheets 1. Next, a plurality of the magnetic ceramic greensheets 1 applied with both of the pastes 3 and 4 are laminated, pressed and sintered to obtain a sintered body having inside a coil pattern and an auxiliary magnetic ceramic layer surrounding this. Finally, an external electrode to be connected with the coil pattern exposed to the surface of thie sintered body is formed to obtain a laminated chip inductor. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
