摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable optical pickup device adapted to servo-control a lens holder supported in cantilever on a suspension member by an electromagnetic driving system, wherein the rigidity of the support arm of the suspension memebr is reduced, and generated pitching resonance and yawing resonance are damped to perform stable servo-control. SOLUTION: This optical pickup device is constructed in such a manner that a support arm 6 for fixing one end of a suspension member 3 is arranged on the backside of a suspension holder 5 fixed to a yoke base 4, the other end of the suspension member 3 is fixed to a lens holder 1 which holds an objective lens 2, and the lens holder 1 is subjected to servo-control by an electromagnetic driving system to displace the objective lens, thereby adjusting the irradiation position of a beam spot on an optical disk. The device has a structure in which the suspension holder 5 and the support arm 6 are integrally formed, and the following-up of the support arm 6 to the displacement of the suspension member 3 in a jittering direction is improved.
