PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce stable quality of corrugated board sheet, improve operator's work and lighten labor load without speed fluctuation and stop of the corrugating machine due to delay of rolled base paper preparation or the like. SOLUTION: In the corrugating machine 1 to produce the corrugated board sheet, the remaining length of base paper preparation until when the paper splicing to the roll base paper is performed for the next time, is calculated from the remaining length of the rolled base paper S1 through S10 installed in the mill stands 2a through 2e and the splicers 3a through 3e, or length of the rolled base paper and the lot remaining length or the lot length corresponding to the rolled base paper.
