PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide microwave therapy equipment with which movable parts are reduced to lessen the frequency of faults, costs for the whole product are reduced and efficient medical treatment is realized, in an antenna for microwave therapy for performing the treatment of a wide area by moving the antenna. SOLUTION: A shutter for opening and closing slits are mounted to a waveguide slit antenna having a plurality of the slits, and the shutter can be moved along the waveguide slit antenna. By varying an irradiation part by opening and closing the slits by moving the shutter, the wide area can be irradiated with microwaves. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
