PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush cutter which has a simple structure, can enhance the rigidity of a fan cover attached to an engine, and can smoothly guide cooling air from an engine-cooling fan to the engine. SOLUTION: This bush cutter 10 manufactured by connecting one end of a driving shaft 12 to the output shaft 28 of the engine 13 through a clutch 40, connecting a cutting blade to the other end of the driving shaft, surrounding the driving shaft with a pipe-like operation rod 11, attaching an engine-cooling fan 30 to the output shaft of the engine, covering the engine-cooling fan 30 with a fan cover 60, fastening the fan cover to the engine with a plurality of fastening members 81, 82, and attaching one end of the operation rod to the fan cover is characterized by disposing an ignition coil 71 at a place near to the engine on the radial direction outside of the engine-cooling fan and also using one 81 of the fastening members as a fastening member for fastening the ignition coil to the engine.
