PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve printing quality by limiting a shift of paper due to the friction between a hammer and the paper, when a feed of the paper is large, and the paper feed is not finished within the shuttle reversal range, and an empty shuttle has occurred. SOLUTION: The printing quality can be improved by suppressing the shift of the paper in the empty shuttle by changing the paper feed starting timing such that the interval between the paper feed finish timing and the printing start timing immediately after the paper feed finishing is minimized.
