PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly administer a predetermined amount of a powdered medicine even to a patient with a weak inhalation force, using a medication apparatus. SOLUTION: A medication assisting device 1 comprises a cylinder 2 equipped with an air discharge outlet 3B at one side in the axial direction, a piston 8 which is slidably inserted/fitted into the cylinder 2 and forms an air chamber 9 therein, a compression spring 12 which presses the piston 8 to one side in the axial direction, a piston returning mechanism 13 which returns the piston 8 in the other axial direction against the pressing force of the compression spring 12. The air in the air chamber 9 is pressurized and introduced into an air inlet 103 of the medication apparatus 101 from the air discharge outlet 3B by suppressing the piston 8 with the compression spring 12 while connecting the air inlet 103 of the medication apparatus 101 to the air discharge outlet 3B of the medication assisting device 1, which enables a proper supply of the powdered medicine in the medication apparatus 101 out of a powdered medicine outlet 107 into the lung of the patient.
