PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine, by which a player can fully participate in the process and result of a game and play the game with a sense of tension. SOLUTION: The slot machine is provided with a variable pattern display portion 2 for displaying a number of variable patterns and a roulette display portion 3 for successively displaying a plurality of points annularly disposed. When a plurality of symbols are aligned and displayed in a predetermined pattern at the variable pattern display portion 2, the roulette display portion 3 starts its operation, and in the case a predetermined point is displayed when operation of the roulette display portion 3 is stopped manually, the game is controlled to carry out a bonus game advantageous to the player.
