<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To comparatively accurately perform automatic light control by eliminating the effect of the outside light. <P>SOLUTION: A light receiving current Ii output from a photodiode 4 is detected when a strobe 3 is in a non-light emitting state, and a correction current Is corresponding to the amount of external light is generated from a voltage-controlled current source 9. The generated correction current Is is equivalent to the amount of external light. The correction current Ic is subtracted from the light receiving current Ic output from the photodiode 4 in stroboscopic light emission, and input to a capacitor 5.
