<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable holder which makes it possible to hold with reliability a flat cable in a predetermined cabling route on a drawing board and fold back the cable and to, if it is placed in continuous folding-back positions, detach the flat cable continuously folded back without damaging the cable. <P>SOLUTION: A flat cable F is inserted into a slit 12c, and folded back along a guide face 12 formed on a holding block 12. The folded back flat cable F is placed on a placement table 21, and held by a holding piece 23. Then, the cable is folded back along the indication surface 22a of a controlling block 22. The hold on the upper face of the folded back flat cable F is canceled by movement of the holding piece 23, and thus the cable can be removed from the cable holder 20.
