摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce effect of a lateral electric field generated in a reverse driving system. <P>SOLUTION: A projecting pattern 81 is formed between two data lines 6a in the boundary part between pixel electrodes adjacent to each other in the vertical direction. The data line 6a and the projecting pattern 81 are disposed away from each other by a prescribed distance. A third interlayer insulation film to be a groundwork of the data line 6a and the projecting pattern 81 is flattened and the dimension in the vertical direction is strictly regulated. Thereby, in a fourth interlayer insulation film formed above the data line 6a and the projecting pattern 81, only the parts corresponding to the data line 6a and the projecting pattern 81 are swollen and the other part has a nearly flat shape. Recesses are not produced between the data line 6a and the projecting pattern 81 and the boundary part between two pixel electrodes has a uniform projecting shape.
