PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire and its manufacturing method capable of preventing a belt structure consisting of a core body belt layer and a coating belt layer from being deformed during vulcanizing and of using a reinforcing cord with a small breaking elongation in the belt structure, in improving high durability and belt separation resistance on the basis of the belt structure. SOLUTION: The belt structure 7 is arranged, which consists of the annular core body belt layer 7a formed by substantially winding the reinforcing cord at an angle of 0°to the tire circumferential direction and the coating belt layer 7b formed by spirally winding the reinforcing cord around the core body belt layer 7a, on the outer-periphery side of a carcass layer 4 in a tread part 1. After a base tire part Y including the belt structure 7 is pre-vulcanized, an un-vulcanized cap tread X is bonded onto the base tire part Y, and the vulcanizing of the cap tread X and the base tire part Y are completed while grooves 10 are being formed in the tread part 1.
