METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MARKING GLASS TUBE OF SMALL DIAMETER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for surely marking a clear ink mark on a narrow tube. SOLUTION: The device comprises: a conveyance mechanism 11 for supporting and conveying a glass tube in a plane surface; a marking ink transferring device 13 such that the marking ink is solidly transferred in a prescribed area of an outer peripheral curved surface of the glass tube arranged and conveyed opposite the conveyance mechanism; a first drying mechanism 16 for temporarily drying the transferred marking ink disposed at the downstream of the transferring device; a laser beam irradiating device 17 for patterning the marking ink layer temporarily dried disposed at the downstream of the first drying mechanism by irradiation and scanning of the laser beam; a mark reading device 18 for reading and evaluating the mark ink pattern dispossed at the downstream of the laser beam irradiating device; and a second drying mechanism 19 for baking and fixing the mark ink pattern that is read and evaluated at the downstream of the mark reading device.
