PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make automatically adjustable the passage of a commodity in a column to a passage width corresponding to the commodity length only by charging the commodity into a commodity charging port. SOLUTION: The back rail of a rack rail 9 laid along a commodity passage 10 is divided into a fixed rail 9a and passage width regulating rails 9b to 9d which are arranged horizontally for every column of a serpentine type commodity housing rack 5. In addition, the passage width regulating rails are energized so as to be projected to the inward of the commodity passages via parallel links 16 and arranged movably in a back and forth direction. Charging passage width regulating members 17b to 17d which are made to individually correspond to the passage width regulating rails and are divided horizontally are laid above top trays 12 at the commodity charging port via parallel links 17a. Connection links 17e provided at the rear ends of the regulating members are connected to the passage width regulating rails, and when a commodity is charged, commodity passage width is automatically adjusted in accordance with the size of the commodity.
