PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch device capable of freely controlling transmission and shutting-off of power in both directions between both of an outer member and an inner member. SOLUTION: An inner holder 27, an outer holder 28, and a sprag 29 are arranged between the inner member 21 and the outer member 22, and both of inner solenoid 19i and outer solenoid 19o are demagnetized to raise the sprag 29 so as to shut off power transmission in both directions between the inner member 21 and the outer member 22. The inner solenoid 19i is magnetized, and rotation resistance is given to the inner holder 27 to tilt the sprag 29 in order to transmit rotation in both directions of the outer member 22 to the inner member 21 through the sprag 29. Moreover, the outer solenoid 19o is magnetized, and rotation resistance is given to the outer holder 28 to tilt the sprag 29 in order to transmit rotation in both directions of the inner member 21 to the outer member 22 through the sprag 29.
