摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detecting apparatus eliminating steps in a detection signal by calculating and correcting the detection signal output in response to the rotor. SOLUTION: The detecting apparatus comprises one or more targets (not shown) mounted on a rotor (not shown), a plurality of detecting means (not shown) facing the targets and outputting detection signals having different phases in accordance with the position of the targets as the rotor rotates, and a switching means (S2) switching the detecting means. The apparatus detects a rotation angle of the rotor based on a detection signal of the detecting means after a switch by the switching means (S2). The apparatus further comprises a first calculating means (S12) calculating a difference of a detection signal of each detecting means between immediately before and immediately after switching by the switching means (S2) and a correcting means (S8) correcting the detection signal of the detecting means after switching using the difference calculated by the first calculating means (S12).
