<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of recovering nitrogen from sewage by which the lowering of the diffusion of ammonia nitrogen is prevented and the deposition of scale is prevented while reducing the cost such as fuel cost, power cost or chemical cost. <P>SOLUTION: The method of recovering nitrogen is performed by aerating the sewage containing ammonia nitrogen to diffuse ammonia nitrogen in the sewage.
