PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel which can highly precisely maintain a shape of a hub irrespective of a change of an environment. SOLUTION: In a recording tape cartridge in one reel type or two reel type, which is stored in a single case, a metallic ring-like member 74 is disposed in the hub 56 by insertion molding in the reel 50 having the cylindrical hub 56 which is formed of a resin material and to which the recording tape is wound and flanges 52 and 54, which are disposed at end parts of the hub 56 and hold an end part of a width direction of the recording tape.
