PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load on each bracket on a radiator side due to a difference in tension between right and left stopper cables and prevent hot air from being blown back after the hot air is passed through a radiator. SOLUTION: In this hood tilt mechanism, the right and left sides of the hood rear lower surface of a bonnet vehicle are connected to the right and left upper end parts of the radiator 4 through stopper cables 3 to hold the forward extended hood in a specified tilted attitude by the stopper cables 3. Brackets 6 fitted to the right and left upper end parts of the radiator 4 and tiltably holding the base end parts of the stopper cables 3 are connected to each other through a beam extending in the lateral direction of the vehicle. The front part of the beam 15 is raised by bending over the entire length to form the beam as a windbreak 16 preventing the hot air from being blown back after the hot air is passed through the radiator.
