The invention concerns a multiple-plate cylinder-head gasket arrangement (10) comprising at least two lower and upper plates (12, 14) with ribs (16, 18), a base plate (44) and an intermediate plate (48) including a sensor (30) arranged immediately proximate the edge of the cylinder hole (20) and wires for transmitting data derived from said sensor.
