The upper and lower longitudinal supports (2, 2') are connected by upper and lower cross supports as well as through upright support members (4) which all form in the rear of the vehicle a substantially closed cage structure (11). At least two of the supports (4) are arranged so that they are positioned in the drive direction both in front of and behind a side fuel filler pipe (14) of the vehicle. The filler pipe is mounted substantially parallel between two supports. The filler pipe connects the tank opening (15) and tank container (16) together , with the tank container being mounted at least in part inside the cage structure.
