<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip antenna provided with a parasitic element in which double and multiple resonances occur between a conductor pattern linked to a power feeding element and the parasitic element by using the parasitic element electromagnetically coupled with the conductor pattern. <P>SOLUTION: The chip antenna is provided with: a base block composed of upper and lower surfaces faced to each other and lateral sides via the upper and lower surfaces and formed by including any one of dielectric and magnetic substance materials; an inverse F-shaped first conductor pattern 21 formed in a part of the base block; an inverse L-shaped second conductor pattern 22 formed in a part of the base block different from the above part and parallel linked to the first conductor pattern 21; and a parasitic element 27 formed at a fixed interval from the first conductor pattern 21 and the second conductor pattern 22 and electromagnetically coupled with the first and second conductor patterns 21 and 22. Thus, bandwidth can be widened in spite of miniaturization, and a peak formed from structural resonance around a frequency band to be used is removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
