COLOR FILTER AND COLOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter for a color liquid crystal display element which does not drastically degrade lightness and has high color purity exceeding EBU (European Broadcasting Union) standards and a color liquid crystal display element.

SOLUTION: Pigment containing Pigment Green 7 is used for the pigment of green pixels of the color filter. The film thickness of each color pigment is required to range from 1.0 to 2.5 μm. The pigment containing the Pigment Green 7 is used for the pigment of the green pixels of the color filter and a green phosphor having a peak wavelength ranging from 510 to 530 nm and a band width of ≥20 nm is used for the green phosphor of the back light unit.
